Special Premium Detail - Lexus RX300 (Visomax Prometheus treatment)

This was a special detail which took me 7 hrs to complete as i was not doing my usual detailing with my daily detailing products and TBH, i don't really enjoy detailing a SUV as it is huge and high... often at the end of the detailing session, my back will ache badly. I washed and clayed the RX300, the surface of the paint was considered quite clean with little contamination as the clay was relatively clean. The SUV was parked at the polishing bay for a closer inspection of the paint defects.

Some light buffer swirls were noted...

... light surface marring + light buffer swirl...

... buffer swirl again... the car was assessed to be ok condition with light marring and buffer swirl.

I had used most of the whole range of Visomax Prometheus products for the correction and restoration process but the PS 450 Titanium polymer sealant was not used during this detail as i had chosen wax over sealant. The AutoGlym High Definition wax used to lock in the preparation work and protect the car.

The interiors were cleaned using Zymol leather cleaner and Zymol leather conditioner was applied to moisturise and protect the leather upholstery from cracking due to drying of the leather.

These were the final pictures for the detailing... and my neck and back were really aching after the final mopping up and external dressing stage.

Hope you have enjoyed the session here... one last picture before i go... lolz...

Thank you for viewing this posting, cheers.

  1. Nice one bro!
Drooling at the new products, hehe.
Their product range sounds so confusing! With all the numbers only, lol. So how did you like them polishes?

    Rest well ya...

  2. I was confused with Visomax PS products as all the wordings, including the instruction on the back of the bottle are all in German! The numbers actually made things so much easier for me to visualize for the various type of polish. I would say the products are good and deliver excellent results and they are easy to use. Anyway they have gotten quite a number of endorsements from various fine exotic carmakers, so does my opinions still matters? hahaha, tks.
