Light Blue Honda Civic FD

The owner of this civic wanted to maintain his ride as it was near to CNY. After foam washing and claying, the car condition was really not bad. Some scratches and swirl mark were found but it shouldn't be too difficult to rectify these defects.

Mild to medium paint correction were performed and the paint surface was good to go for the LSP. The car was coated with AutoGlym High Definition Wax.

Thanks to my assistant, some panels were coated with too much wax and more time would be needed to buff out the wax.

I was enjoying these pictures after the waxing, this product worked like a charm.

Thank you for viewing this detailing session.

Black Hyundai Getz

The paint condition of this car was bad, the owner mentioned she hardly wash the car as she was very busy. After washing and claying, these pictures shown the defects collected on the car surface.

Paint correction were performed on the entire car, the picture was taken after 5 passes on the bonnet, more needs to be done.

The sealant was chosen as the LSP as the owner really don't have time to maintain her car. Hope the sealant can provide enough protection till the next grooming session.

These were the picture taken after buffing out the sealant.

I strongly advised the owner to wash her car weekly and sent for periodic grooming if she wanted the car to look good. A single detailing would wear out in time as nothing will last forever if there was no maintenance. Thank you for viewing this detailing session.

Black Mercedes SLK

After washing and claying, i noticed that the paint condition of this SLK was quite good, there were only slight micro marring on the surface and some random isolated scratches. A piece of cake, should be able to finish in 2-3 hours.

Mild paint correction was performed to rectify the paint defects but the paint of this car was not very workable. I had to utilized some of the more aggressive products to remove the defects, the surface was subsequently burnished after the defects were removed. Wax was chosen over sealant for the LSP, the entire car was then waxed and left to cure.

These were the pictures after buffing out the wax.

This detailing took more than 4 hours to complete and i realised that it wasn't that easy after all when the paint was not workable. Thank you for viewing.

Salsa Red Audi TT Coupe

The condition of this TT was good, there were only very superficial swirl marks on the car. Mild paint correction was done to eliminate the defects and the car was sealed with AutoGlym Extra Gloss Protection sealant. The Sealant was applied on the entire car and then left for curing.

The buffing was tiring as the size of this continental coupe was definitely bigger than a Japanese 1.4L or 1.5L saloon. Wonder how did this picture happened... was buffing out the LSP but couldn't find my right arm in the picture... hahaha.

Some more pictures.

I was surprised when the owner came back in less than a week period. The owner was back as he wanted another protection coating using AutoGlym High Definition wax. The car was clean with a cleaner polish prior HD waxing.

The car was waxed and the reflection it gave was fantastic!

Black Mazda 3

After the foam washing and claying, i positioned the car and switched on the lightnings. The paint condition of this car was quite good, minimal swirling and some buffer trails were found on the car.

Mild paint correction was performed to eliminate the defects and i had chosen wax as LSP for this car.

These were the pictures after the mild paint correction and waxing.

Black Porsche Cayman

I was pondering to do or not to do when one of my customer approach me to do up his new cayman. It was definitely going to be more challenging than detailing the normal car but i do not want to miss this car. Finally i made up my mind and fixed the appointment with him. These are some of the pictures on the initial assessment of the cayman paint conditions after washing and claying.

I reckoned that it should not be too tough after the initial paint checking. Finalised the steps and products and decided to use the AutoGlym High Definition Wax for the LSP to bring out the full vibrant of this black Cayman.

Surface preparation works - mild paint correction were performed on the superficial oxidations, buffer trails and micro marring on the car surface. Most sections on the car were corrected with ease. Some of the pictures taken on the finishing acheived after the paint correction.
LSP - The application of the AutoGlym HD wax was a breeze and the wax was then left to cure on the car while i was doing the interior vacuum.

After buffing out the HD wax, the results were very rewarding. These were the pictures taken, cheers.

It took me more than 3 hours to do up the exterior and the process is very encouraging as i learn couple of new things along the way and the quest to further refine the work process and quality continues. Thank you for viewing this detailing session.
