Black Subaru Impreza TS (Severe paint correction)

This car went through a serious paint correction session and the cost of it was about 10 microns of the paint on average. I really ponder how much paint correction can the paint take if this continues? Regular routine car wash and waxing regime will definitely reduce the need of such a session, cheers.

Paint readings took before correction (average about 100 microns)

Paint readings took after correction (average about 90 microns)

The car was sent in at about 3pm, these were some of the pictures taken after shampoo wash and claying. The entire car was covered with alot of defects like swirl marks, scuff marks, water etched marks, scratches, acidic etched marks (caused by bird poo)... the list goes on.

The car was worked on with various products and we took about 4 hours to remove most of the defects, the remaining defects that stayed were those that had went through the clear coat.

My mentor in action with his trusty RO buffer, spearheading the paint correction session... lolz.

It was a mess after more than 4 hours of paint correction work.

The car was metallic black or metallic silver? Some serious cleaning up had to be done concurrently with the interior grooming as time was definitely not on our side.

The car was meticulously cleaned up, burnished for LSP and seal off with sealant.

It was almost 9pm and we were glad that the owner was pleased with his car's makeover. We strongly recommended him to take up our regular waxing regime to maintain his car. I'm beat after the cars today and tomorrow got more to come, it's the CNY "mad detailing" period... cheers.

Red Toyota Belta

One of my favourite colour in detailing is red and this Belta is lacking the shine and lustre of a red colour car. The car was shampoo washed and thoroughly clayed. The wheels were not that dirty and quite easily taken care of. The car was shifted to the polishing site for a closer inspection on the paint conditions.

The car was full of swirl marks, light buffer trails, some RIDS and some light scratches, i suspect that the RIDS were caused by cat crawling on the surface as the RIDS were only found on the bonnet, top and boot areas.

I double checked the paint health status and from the device readings, it's good to go for safe paint correction.

A mild paint correction was executed to remove the swirls and followed by a medium paint correction for the light scratches. Most of the RIDS were only minimise and not totally remove as that will remove too much of the top clear coat. The interior was thoroughly cleaned and all leather and vinyl parts were moisturised and dressed.

and not forgetting the door shuts...

The entire car was burnished for LSP and i had chosen sealant for the final seal.

These were the final pictures after buffing out the sealant. A total of 4 hours were spent to restore the car back to it's pristine condition again.

Thank you for viewing this detailing session, cheers!
