Grand Vitara (>15 um Correction)

This huge SUV was sent in for a full comprehensive polish to rejuvenate it's condition. The pearl white colour was not brilliantly bright as it was heavily contaminated with blemishes and road grime. Further inspection on the car's paint condition reveals multiple pockets of deep RDS among the swirl mark on the bonnet and it really looked severe... and deep.

The darker shades of pockets on the panel are the RDS. What causes Random Deep Scratches (RDS)? I believe it was inflicted while rubbing the affected spot (Stubborn blemish/ bird poo... etc) with wrong techniques or material used. If the cleaning was executed much much earlier, the blemish will not have the opportunity to be stubborn on the surface. RDS can be costly to repair as alot of paint will be sacrifice during the paint correction process.

A good 150 minutes was utilized on this affected area and finally, i managed to restore it back to it's original conditions. The cost of the restoration process was about 19 microns of the paint work.

A total of 6 hours was used to restore this big car back to it's pristine condition.

The SUV's pearl paint work is now clean, gleaming and brilliant again.

Early intervention helps in many situations, the 19 microns would have been minimize if the blemish on the bonnet panel did not get the chance to become stubborn. Thank you for viewing, cheers.
