Black Subaru Impreza TS (Severe paint correction)

This car went through a serious paint correction session and the cost of it was about 10 microns of the paint on average. I really ponder how much paint correction can the paint take if this continues? Regular routine car wash and waxing regime will definitely reduce the need of such a session, cheers.

Paint readings took before correction (average about 100 microns)

Paint readings took after correction (average about 90 microns)

The car was sent in at about 3pm, these were some of the pictures taken after shampoo wash and claying. The entire car was covered with alot of defects like swirl marks, scuff marks, water etched marks, scratches, acidic etched marks (caused by bird poo)... the list goes on.

The car was worked on with various products and we took about 4 hours to remove most of the defects, the remaining defects that stayed were those that had went through the clear coat.

My mentor in action with his trusty RO buffer, spearheading the paint correction session... lolz.

It was a mess after more than 4 hours of paint correction work.

The car was metallic black or metallic silver? Some serious cleaning up had to be done concurrently with the interior grooming as time was definitely not on our side.

The car was meticulously cleaned up, burnished for LSP and seal off with sealant.

It was almost 9pm and we were glad that the owner was pleased with his car's makeover. We strongly recommended him to take up our regular waxing regime to maintain his car. I'm beat after the cars today and tomorrow got more to come, it's the CNY "mad detailing" period... cheers.
