Black Nissan Sunny (Really Thick Paint)

This Sunny was very nicely modded and it's a very different sunny after i had driven it for the wash. The car was given a mild paint correction to restore it's condition again.

The paint was "unique" as the mild to medium paint correction was not working. Most of the products used during the correction did not managed to rectify the defects. Upon closer inspection, the problem was determined. It was the paint job issue and there were quite a numbers of defects embedded beneath the clear coat which we can't do much to solve it.

This picture shown some of the embedded defects under the clear coat after the surface was burnished for LSP.
The verification stage with the use of a paint gauge. The paint gauge gave us a coating thickness of close to 700 microns! It was easily 3 times more than a continental ride paint coating, i wonder how many times this car was resprayed.
Thank you for viewing this detailing session.
