The paint coating level wasn't very high, average readings at 90+ microns with higher paint coating readings at the bonnet. It wasn't a brand new car and i am assuming that the mean readings for new new car should be at around 110 - 120 microns.
I had spent more than 4 hours to clean and correct the paint work, another 2 hours were used up to detail the corrected paint work.
The paint work was cleaned and corrected with Visomax Prometheus products.
Clarity and gloss, these pictures speak for themselves.
I'm impressed with the results of the grooming session, without a doubt!
I was glade that the session was completed in 7 hours, any longer will be a race against my endurance. The session was good, owner was happy and i've learnt new stuff as well. Thank you for viewing, cheers.
Wow, what is that device you are using to determine paint coating level? Is that really accurate?
ReplyDeleteHi mate, that's a paint thickness gauge. It measures the paint coating in micron. Accuracy wise should be ok if it's calibrated properly. Price range from couple of hundreds for beginner to tens of thousands for high function type used by fine exotic makers. Plenty of different models in the market, choose one that suit your needs.
